There are so many apples in the garden this year - well there is so much of everything, or it least it seems so. And each time we spend some time out there, we find something new - still enjoying the small joys of discovering everything around here. These photos are already some weeks old. We spent a Sunday afternoon in the orchard picking apples, hazelnuts and the last very ripe and really really sweet currants. We are still picking apples and pears, and now also walnuts and plenty of blackberries. I feel quite grateful for all this.
The girls were wearing some beautiful autumn clothes by Danish Pierrot la Lune. Their clothes have been a favourite of ours for a while - it's organic and sustainable and the design is timeless but still with that touch of sweetness that I like for kids. Mollys has been living in those loose dresses since summer and still is, now with woolen tights and a long-sleeved t-shirt underneath. Wish I was her. And ohh, yes - this was also the day she discovered that she's able to cimb trees all on her own. A big thing when you are 3.
