Some photos from a blog post I did for Enfants Terribles Magazines on what to do on winter days. The photos are from a favourite museum of our, Trapholt - Museum of Modern Art, Applied Art, Design and Architecture. We don't visit it so often since it is situated in Jutland, but for my sister's birthday she invited all of us to meet at the museum - such a lovely idea. My heart was beating a bit extra in my chest when the girls chose to spend most of the time in the permanent Richard Mortensen exhibition. It was a room I used to love when I studied. Richard Mortensen was a Danish mid-century painter, who developed a specific constructivist-abstract painting with influence from Zen Buddhism. The girls loved to play with the puzzles resembling the paintings and the interactive touch screen table placed in the room. We couldn't spend a stormy winter day much better.
