Last week I visited the Danish design collective Meyer-Lavigne in their studio in Copenhagen’s meat packing district with my camera and a couple of questions on how they mix Nordic tradition and design with a sense of Japanese Kawaii. You can read and see the result at Enfants Terribles' blog - but I can't help to show a bit here too.
There is such a wonderful atmosphere in the studio of Meyer-Lavigne, and I love to pass by from time to time to sneak around and see what the talented ladies have come up with. Sketches, plants, Flower Pots, Dream Savers and their kids' creations are put together in a lovely mix. Maybe some of you recall that I spent some months in Meyer-Lavigne's studio last year, writing some texts for them. This time they showed me their brand new and really sweet Good Morning cups.
